Everything went according to plan when thirteenth ranked Chalons-Reims (6-9) outplayed at home 15th ranked Le Portel (3-12) 70-51 on Monday. Chalons-Reims forced 25 Le Portel turnovers. It was an exceptional evening for guard Louis-Marin Alix (186-99) who led the winners and scored 12 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Center Quentin Losser (203-99) accounted for 9 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side. Chalons-Reims' coach used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to get some rest.
