Regular Season Round 12: Quimper - Vichy Clermont 85-73

Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both fourth ranked Quimper UJAP and 7th ranked JA Vichy had identical 7-4 record. This time Quimper UJAP used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Vichy 85-73. Quimper UJAP shot the lights out from three nailing 14 long-distance shots on high 51.9 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. The winners were led by swingman Lucas Dussoulier (203-96) who scored that evening 17 points and 8 assists and American David Jackson (192-86, college: W.Illinois) supported him with 17 points. Even 20 points and 5 assists by David Denave (193-85) did not help to save the game for JA Vichy. Point guard Gregory Bengaber (186-97, agency: Octagon Europe) added 12 points and 4 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Quimper UJAP have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with 3 other teams. JA Vichy at the other side dropped to the sixth position with five games lost. Quimper UJAP's next round opponent will be bottom-ranked Poitiers (#18) on the road which should be an easy win for them. JA Vichy will play against Olympique Antibes (#11) and hope to win that game.
