Regular Season Round 16: Limoges - Strasbourg 77-61

An interesting game took place in Limoges where higher ranked SIG Strasbourg (8-8) was upset on the court of fourteenth ranked Limoges CSP Elite (6-10) 77-61. Limoges CSP Elite outrebounded SIG Strasbourg 34-22 including 29 on the defensive glass. It was a very good performance for American-Mexican point guard Paul Stoll (180-85) who helped to win the game recording 10 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. American swingman Anthony Brown (199-92, college: Stanford) contributed with 11 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Five Limoges CSP Elite players scored in double figures. British-Canadian Thomas Scrubb (198-91, college: Carleton) replied with 13 points and 5 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) and Boris Dallo (196-94, agency: Octagon Europe) added 13 points in the effort for SIG Strasbourg. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Limoges CSP Elite moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Pau-Lacq-Orthez and Orleans. SIG Strasbourg at the other side keeps the seventh position with eight games lost. Limoges CSP Elite's next round opponent will be Chorale de Roanne (#15) on the road.
