Regular Season Round 10: Kiryat Ata - Bnei Hertzeliya 73-86

The game between Top Four teams took place in Kiryat Ata. 4th ranked host Ironi Kiryat Ata (6-4) lost to second ranked Bnei Hasharon (8-2) 86-73. Bnei Hasharon players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Kendall Anthony (173-93, college: Richmond) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 8 assists. The other American import guard Anthony Fisher (191-86) contributed with 18 points and 4 assists for the winners. American-Jamaican Quintrell Thomas (203-90, college: UNLV) replied with a double-double by scoring 31 points and 16 rebounds (made all of his nine free throws !!!) and guard Daniel Danino (186-96) added 12 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Ironi Kiryat Ata. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Bnei Hasharon used an opportunity after Afula lost their game and moved up joining them at the top position. Ironi Kiryat Ata at the other side dropped to the third place with four games lost. Bnei Hasharon's next round opponent will be league's leader Afula at home and it will be for sure the game of the week. Ironi Kiryat Ata will play against Hasharon in Hod Hasharon and hope to win that game.
