The most exciting game of day 64 in the NBA took place in Sacramento. This derby game ended with only one-point home defeat of one of their biggest challengers Kings (12-19) to fifth ranked Timberwolves (11-19) 105-104 on Thursday evening. Timberwolves made 23-of-29 free shots (79.3 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Senegalese center Gorgui Dieng (211-90, college: Louisville) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 21 points and 15 rebounds. Canadian guard Andrew Wiggins (203-95, college: Kansas) contributed with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Forward Richaun Holmes (206-93, college: Bowling Green) replied with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 18 rebounds and Serbian swingman Bogdan Bogdanovic (198-92) added 19 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Kings. Four Timberwolves and five Kings players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Timberwolves moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Phoenix Suns. Kings lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the third position with 19 games lost.
