An interesting game for Pistons (12-20) which hosted in Detroit their close opponent Wizards (9-21). Fourth ranked Pistons had an easy win 132-102. Five Pistons and four Wizards players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Pistons moved-up to third place, which they share with Chicago B. and Memphis G. Loser Wizards keep the fourth position with 21 games lost.
