An interesting game for Jazz (19-12) which hosted in Salt Lake City 4th ranked Trail Blazers (14-18). Second ranked Jazz managed to get a 6-point victory 121-115. Jazz players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Guard Donovan Mitchell (190-96, college: Louisville) fired 35 points (!!!) and 7 assists for the winners. Australian Joe Ingles (203-87) chipped in 26 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Jazz's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Point guard Damian Lillard (190-90, college: Weber St.) produced 34 points (!!!) and 8 assists and guard CJ McCollum (193-91, college: Lehigh) added 25 points respectively for lost side. Four Jazz and five Trail Blazers players scored in double figures. Jazz maintains second position with 19-12 record having just two points less than leader Philadelphia 76. Trail Blazers at the other side keep the fourth place with 18 games lost.
