Regular Season Round 37: Libertadores - Capitanes 109-105

Very important is a road loss of second ranked Capitanes (22-12) against eighth ranked Libertadores (12-23) on Friday night. Visiting Capitanes were defeated by Libertadores in a tough game in Queretaro 105-109. Libertadores players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists. American-Dominican forward Justin Satchell (203, college: St.Leo) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds for the winners and center Ray Barreno (208-94, college: Portland) chipped in 15 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). At the losing side Panamanian forward Ernesto Oglivie (203-89) responded with 30 points and forward Moises Andriassi (185-99) scored 18 points and 6 rebounds. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Libertadores moved-up to seventh place. Capitanes at the other side keep the second position with 12 games lost. They share it with Aaguacateros. Libertadores will again play against league's second-placed Capitanes in Mexico in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Capitanes will have a break next round.
