Regular Season Round 66: Sacramento K. - Phoenix Suns 110-112
Date: December 28, 2019
Important game to mention about took place in Sacramento. Fourth ranked Suns (12-20) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging one of their biggest challengers Kings (12-20) 112-110 in the game for the third place. Suns players were unselfish on offense dishing 30 assists. Devin Booker (198-96, college: Kentucky) notched a double-double by scoring 32 points and 10 assists to lead the effort and swingman Kelly Oubre (201-95, college: Kansas) supported him with 20 points, 16 rebounds and 5 assists. Suns' coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Even a double-double of 21 points and 10 rebounds by forward Harrison Barnes (203-92, college: UNC) did not help to save the game for Kings. Bahamas guard Buddy Hield (193-93, college: Oklahoma) added 23 points and 5 rebounds. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Suns moved-up to third place, which they share with Sacramento K. Kings lost sixth consecutive game. Suns will have a break next day, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Kings will play on the road against the league's leader Nuggets in Denver and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
