The game with biggest result difference took place in Changchun. Local Jilin Tigers (12-10) were outscored by sixth ranked Golden Stars (14-8) 124-104 on Saturday night. Golden Stars outrebounded Jilin Tigers 43-28 including a 30-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The best player for the winners was American Lester Hudson (190-84, college: UT Martin) who had a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 13 assists. Central African-American power forward James Mays (205-86, college: Clemson) chipped in a double-double by scoring 25 points and 11 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American power forward Elijah Holman (208-89, college: Detroit Mercy, agency: Pensack Sports) who recorded 17 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Weize Jiang (182-0) added 16 points and 9 assists respectively. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Golden Stars moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Beijing Ducks and Beijing RF. Jilin Tigers lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the eleventh position with ten games lost. Golden Stars will face Sturgeons (#15) in Jinjiang in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Jilin Tigers will play on the road against Long-Lions (#18) in Guangzhou and hope to win that game.
