Regular Season Round 25: Saga B. - Kanazawa 84-77

Very predictable result when fourth ranked Saga B. (17-9) defeated at home bottom-ranked Kanazawa (4-22) 84-77 on Saturday. Saga B. looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American power forward Gary Hamilton (208-84, college: Miami, FL, agency: Inception Sports) fired a triple-double by scoring 15 points, 18 rebounds and 11 assists for the winners. His fellow American import Trey Gilder (206-85, college: Northwestern St.) chipped in 30 points and 7 rebounds (made all of his thirteen free throws !!!). Saga B.'s coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Bahamas center Gjio Bain (211-85, college: S.Mississippi) produced a double-double by scoring 22 points, 10 rebounds and 5 blocks (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) and American guard Andre Murray (188-87, college: Portland St.) added 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The victory was the eighth consecutive win for Saga B.. Newly promoted Saga B. maintains fourth place with 17-9 record. Kanazawa lost their tenth game in a row. They stay dead last with 22 lost games. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
