Regular Season Round 13: Lavrio - Larissa BC 78-98

We should mention about the upset which took place in Lavrio, where higher ranked Lavrio (7-7) was outleveled at home by thirteenth ranked Larissa BC (5-9) 98-78. The game was mostly controlled by Larissa BC. Lavrio was better in third quarter 22-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Larissa BC players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. The game was dominated by American players. Guard Brandon Rush (198-85, college: Kansas) nailed 30 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side and point guard Anthony Hickey (180-92, college: Oklahoma St.) accounted for 21 points and 4 assists. Forward Devin Davis (198-95, college: Houston) came up with 13 points and 6 rebounds and guard Quenton DeCosey (196-93, college: Temple) added 15 points respectively for Lavrio in the defeat. Four Larissa BC and five Lavrio players scored in double figures. Lavrio's coach Christos Serellis tested twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Larissa BC moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Kolossos HH. Lavrio at the other side dropped to the sixth position with seven games lost. Larissa BC will have a break next round.
