Regular Season Round 26: Tokyo CR - Aisin AW 76-88

No shocking result in a game when third ranked Aisin AW (18-8) defeated on the road 10th ranked Tokyo CR (8-19) 88-76. It was a great shooting night for Aisin AW especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.6 percentage. American Kyle Richardson (201-91, college: Portland St.) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists. Senegalese forward Assane Diop (197-92, college: Austin Peay) contributed with 11 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. American forward Chris Olivier (203-92, college: Oklahoma St.) replied with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds and his fellow American import center Joshua Crawford (211-88, college: Indiana St.) added 15 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Tokyo CR. Four Tokyo CR players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Aisin AW have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 18-8 record having just three points less than leader Iwate Big Bulls. Tokyo CR at the other side keeps the tenth place with 19 games lost. Aisin AW will play against bottom-ranked Kanazawa (#12) in Ishikawa in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Tokyo CR will play on the road against Saitama Broncos and hopes to get back on the winning track.
