Regular Season Round 30: Bambitious N. - Koshigaya A. 101-86

Rather predictable result in Nara where fourth ranked Bambitious N. (13-17) beat 6th ranked Koshigaya A. (8-22) 101-86 on Sunday. They outrebounded Koshigaya A. 48-36 including 34 on the defensive glass. Bambitious N. shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 54.5 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The game was dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was Greg Mangano (208-89, college: Yale, agency: Octagon Europe) who had a double-double by scoring 30 points and 21 rebounds. Power forward Andrew Fitzgerald (202-90, college: Oklahoma) chipped in 29 points and 9 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). Four Bambitious N. players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Charles Hinkle (198-88, college: American) who recorded 33 points (!!!), 9 rebounds and 9 assists and center Andrew Naymick (209-85, college: Michigan St.) added 16 points and 13 rebounds respectively. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Bambitious N. maintains fourth position with 13-17 record. Newly promoted Koshigaya A. keeps the sixth place with 22 games lost. Bambitious N. will face Yamagata (#6) on the road in the next round. Koshigaya A. will play against FE Nagoya and hope to win that game.
