There was a small surprise in Trapani where eleventh ranked 2B Control TR (7-8) edged 8th ranked Basket Scafati (7-8) 89-88 on Sunday. 2B Control TR made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for American LaMarshall Corbett (189-88, college: Angelo St.) who led his team to a victory scoring 35 points (!!!) and 6 assists (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!). Forward Marco Mollura (196-93) helped adding 17 points and 9 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American point guard JJ Frazier (178-95, college: Georgia) with 22 points and 7 rebounds (went 11 for 11 at the free throw line !!!) and power forward Ion Lupusor (203-96) scored 22 points. Four Basket Scafati players scored in double figures. 2B Control TR maintains eleventh place in A2 with 7-8 record. 2B Control TR will face Orlandina CdO (#12) in Capo d'Orlando in the next round.
