Important game to mention about took place in Ciudad Victoria. Seventh ranked Correcaminos (8-28) saved a 3-point victory at home edging 4th ranked Lenadores (21-14) 99-96 on Sunday evening. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Lenadores. They outrebounded Lenadores 42-26 including a 29-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Senegalese center Mamadou Ndiaye (229-93, college: UC Irvine) notched a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 17 rebounds to lead the effort and Dominican guard Bernardo Polanco (189-94) supported him with 24 points and 5 assists. Even a double-double of 22 points and 13 rebounds by American center Chris Daniels (205-84, college: Texas A&M-CC) did not help to save the game for Lenadores. His fellow American import guard Anthony Roberson (196, college: Cent.Oklahoma) added 23 points for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Correcaminos maintains seventh position with 8-28 record. Lenadores at the other side keep the fourth place with 14 games lost.
