Regular Season Round 26: Shizuoka - Saitama B. 61-70

There was no surprise when 9th ranked Shizuoka (10-14) was defeated at home by sixth ranked Saitama Broncos (13-12) 70-61. Thailand power forward Jalen Robinson (206-93, college: Dalton St.) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 16 rebounds. Bahamas Mark StFort (200-88, college: Warner) contributed with 8 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Four Saitama Broncos players scored in double figures. American forward Roschon Prince (198-94, college: Detroit Mercy) replied with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 16 rebounds and his fellow American import forward Reginald Warren (204-81, college: W.Florida, agency: Inception Sports) added 16 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Shizuoka. Shizuoka's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Saitama Broncos moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Okayama. Newly promoted Shizuoka keeps the ninth position with 14 games lost. Saitama Broncos will play against Tokyo CR (#10) at home in the next round where they are favorite. Shizuoka will play against Tokyo HT and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
