The most crucial game of the last day was a loss of top-ranked Heat (24-9) in Washington on Monday night. Visitors were defeated by fourth ranked Wizards (10-22) 123-105. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Heat. Wizards looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Jordan McRae (197-91, college: Tennessee) who helped to win the game recording 29 points and 8 assists and guard Garrison Mathews (201-96, college: Lipscomb) who added 28 points during the contest. Swingman Jimmy Butler (201-89, college: Marquette) responded with 27 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and Bam Adebayo (208-97, college: Kentucky) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Wizards maintains fourth position with 10-22 record, which they share with Cleveland C. Heat at the other side still keeps top place with nine games lost.
