Regular Season Round 68: Minnesota T. - Brooklyn N. 122-115
Date: December 30, 2019
We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Minnesota where one of their biggest challengers Nets (16-16) were defeated by fifth ranked Timberwolves (12-20) 122-115 on Monday. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Timberwolves made 8 blocks. Nets were plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of Puerto Rican-American point guard Shabazz Napier (185-91, college: UConn) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 8 assists and Senegalese center Gorgui Dieng (211-90, college: Louisville) who added 11 points and 20 rebounds during the contest.
