An interesting game for Thunder (18-15) which hosted in Oklahoma City second-best Mavericks (21-12). Third ranked Thunder managed to get a 5-point victory 106-101. Thunder dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Mavericks' 36 and made 22-of-28 free shots (78.6 percent) during the game. Point guard Chris Paul (183-85, college: Wake Forest) nailed 17 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists for the winning side and Canadian point guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (198-98, college: Kentucky) accounted for 19 points and 10 rebounds. Five Thunder players scored in double figures. Thunder's coach used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Slovenian guard Luka Doncic (201-99) came up with a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!), 10 rebounds and 7 assists and German Maximilian Kleber (207-92) added 14 points and 14 rebounds respectively for Mavericks in the defeat. Thunder have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain third place with 18-15 record having three points less than leader Milwaukee B. Loser Mavericks keep the second position with 12 games lost.
