Regular Season Round 11: Hod Hasharon - Kiryat Ata 98-112

The biggest surprise of round 11 in National League was guest Ironi Kiryat Ata's (7-4) road victory over Hasharon (#6) 112-98 on Tuesday evening. Ironi Kiryat Ata made 42-of-51 free shots (82.4 percent) during the game, while Hasharon only scored nineteen points from the stripe. Ironi Kiryat Ata looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. 34 personal fouls committed by Hasharon helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was American swingman Marcus Relphorde (198-88, college: Colorado, agency: SDJ Sports) who scored 21 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists. Forward Sagiv David (198-92) chipped in 22 points. Puerto Rican-American point guard TreVon Hughes (185-87, college: Wisconsin) produced 15 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals and guard Idan Paz (187-95) added 15 points and 8 assists respectively for the hosts. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Ironi Kiryat Ata moved-up to third place, which they share with H.Haifa. Hasharon at the other side dropped to the fifth position with five games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Ironi Kiryat Ata is looking forward to face Kiryat Motzkin (#6) at home in the next round.
