The biggest surprise of round 11 in National League was guest Ironi Kiryat Ata's (7-4) road victory over Hasharon (#6) 112-98 on Tuesday evening. Ironi Kiryat Ata made 42-of-51 free shots (82.4 percent) during the game, while Hasharon only scored nineteen points from the stripe. Puerto Rican-American point guard TreVon Hughes (185-87, college: Wisconsin) produced 15 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals and guard Idan Paz (187-95) added 15 points and 8 assists respectively for the hosts. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Ironi Kiryat Ata moved-up to third place, which they share with H.Haifa. Hasharon at the other side dropped to the fifth position with five games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Ironi Kiryat Ata is looking forward to face Kiryat Motzkin (#6) at home in the next round.
