The most exciting game of round 14 in the Superleague took place in Tehran. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of 5th ranked Mahram (10-4) to third ranked Chemidor (12-3) 68-66 on Thursday evening. International Mohammad Jamshidi (199-91) orchestrated the victory by scoring 26 points and 4 assists. International forward Michael Rostampour (203-91, college: Omaha) contributed with 8 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Chemidor's coach Mohammed Eslami used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The former international forward Mohammad Nikkhah (199-83) replied with 18 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and the former international Arsalan Kazemi (200-90, college: Oregon) added 8 points and 13 rebounds in the effort for Mahram. Chemidor have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place. Newly promoted Mahram keeps the fifth position with four games lost.
