Regular Season Round 3: KW Titans - Sudbury F. 91-118

Very important is a home loss of Titans (1-2) against Sudbury F. (1-2) on Thursday night. Host Titans were crushed by Sudbury F. in Kitchener 118-91. Sudbury F. outrebounded Titans 58-37 including a 40-28 advantage in defensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. The game was dominated by American players. It was a good game for guard Jaylen Bland (190-93, college: UC Riverside) who led his team to a victory with 26 points and 9 rebounds. Forward JR Holder (201-94, college: Jacksonville) contributed with 30 points for the winners. Swingman Jared Nickens (201-94, college: Maryland) answered with 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Jon Harris (201-92, college: Cleveland St., agency: Interperformances) added 14 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Titans. Five Titans players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Sudbury F. will play against Windsor Express on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Titans will play against London Lightning and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
