Rather expected game when 11th ranked Raad (4-11) lost to ninth ranked Toufarghan (6-9) in Tehran 70-74. Toufarghan outrebounded Raad 47-34 including 16 on the offensive glass. The best player for the winners was Canadian guard Kelvin Amayo (193-92, college: Loyola Mary) who scored 30 points and 6 rebounds. Spanish center Gracin Bakumanya (211-97) chipped in a double-double by scoring 17 points and 16 rebounds. Point guard Shayan Pourkavehdehkordi (184-98) produced 21 points and 5 rebounds and the former international center Ebrahim Beigi (211-94) added 15 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Four Raad players scored in double figures. Raad's coach Jamal Seyfi tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Newly promoted Toufarghan maintains ninth position with 6-9 record. Raad at the other side keeps the eleventh place with 11 games lost.
