Rather expected game in Phoenix where 5th ranked Knicks (10-25) were defeated by third ranked Suns (14-21) 120-112 on Friday. They made 26-of-33 free shots (78.8 percent) during the game. Suns looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. Knicks were plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of Devin Booker (198-96, college: Kentucky) who helped to win the game recording 38 points (!!!) and 7 assists (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) and swingman Kelly Oubre (201-95, college: Kansas) who added 29 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was forward Marcus Morris (206-89, college: Kansas) with 25 points and forward Julius Randle (206-94, college: Kentucky) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 rebounds. Four Suns and five Knicks players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Suns maintains third position with 14-21 record having seven points less than leader Milwaukee B. Loser Knicks keep the fifth place with 25 games lost.
