No shocking result in a game when tenth ranked Caceres Basket (8-8) outleveled at home 14th ranked CB Granada (6-10) 88-67 on Friday. They outrebounded CB Granada 34-21 including 26 on the defensive glass. Caceres Basket shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 56.0 percentage. American center Arkeem Joseph (206-94, college: Texas A&M Int.) fired a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Dutch forward Jordy Kuiper (206-95, college: UNCG, agency: Inception Sports) chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds. Four Caceres Basket players scored in double figures. Bosnian-Canadian guard Diego Kapelan (190-87, college: McNeese St., agency: Agency) produced 16 points and the former international center Guillem Rubio (202-82) added 13 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Caceres Basket moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Ourense and Alicante. CB Granada lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the thirteenth position with ten games lost. They share it with Almansa. Caceres Basket will meet league's second-placed Gipuzkoa in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. CB Granada will play against Leyma Basquet (#5) and hope to secure a win.
