The most crucial game of the last day was a loss of top-ranked Nuggets (25-10) in Washington on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by fourth ranked Wizards (11-24) 128-114. They dominated down low during the game scoring 88 of its points in the paint compared to Nuggets' 68 and made 22-of-27 free shots (81.5 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Nuggets 49-33 including a 35-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Ishmael Smith (183-88, college: Wake Forest) who helped to win the game recording 32 points and 8 assists. Swingman Troy Brown-Jr (201-99, college: Oregon, agency: Pensack Sports) contributed with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 14 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) for the winners. Canadian swingman Jamal Murray (198-97, college: Kentucky) answered with 39 points (!!!) and 4 assists (made all of his ten free throws !!!) and Serbian center Nikola Jokic (209-95, agency: BeoBasket) added 14 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Nuggets. Five Wizards and four Nuggets players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Wizards maintains fourth place with 11-24 record. Nuggets at the other side still keep top position with ten games lost. They share it with Miami Heat.
