Round 16 most important game was a defeat of league's leader Zaragoza (12-4). They were crushed by seventh ranked Andorra (9-7) 106-78 on Saturday night. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Zaragoza. Andorra shot 60.3 percent from the field. Worth to mention a great performance of American-Senegalese point guard Clevin Hannah (179-87, college: Wichita St., agency: BeoBasket) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 5 assists and American guard Jeremy Senglin (188-95, college: Weber St.) who added 17 points and 4 assists during the contest. Four Andorra players scored in double figures. At the losing side international guard Carlos Alocen (189-0) responded with 15 points and international forward Jonathan Barreiro (205-97) scored 11 points and 7 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Andorra moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Unicaja and RETAbet BB. Zaragoza at the other side dropped to the third position with four games lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by FC Barcelona. Zaragoza will play next round against strong CB Canarias trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Andorra will try to continue on its current victory against thirteenth ranked La ICL Manresa on the road.
