Rather expected game when 3rd placed Bulls (13-23) lost to first ranked Celtics (25-8) in Chicago 104-111 on Saturday. Celtics dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Bulls' 42 and made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. Celtics looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a very good performance for forward Jayson Tatum (203-98, college: Duke) who helped to win the game recording 28 points and 7 rebounds (on 12-of-15 shooting from the field). Swingman Gordon Hayward (203-90, college: Butler) contributed with 24 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Celtics' coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Guard Zach LaVine (196-95, college: UCLA) answered with 35 points (!!!) and 4 steals and forward Wendell Carter-Jr (208-99, college: Duke) added 11 points and 14 rebounds in the effort for Bulls. Four Celtics and five Bulls players scored in double figures. Celtics have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain first place with 25-8 record. Bulls lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fourth position with 23 games lost.
