Regular Season Round 15: AZS AGH KR - Rybnik 97-71

Very predictable result in Krakow where second ranked AZS AGH KR (13-1) smashed 12th ranked Rybnik (3-11) 97-71 on Saturday. AZS AGH KR forced 21 Rybnik turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Rybnik's players. It was a great evening for Konrad Mamcarczyk (191-94) who led his team to a victory scoring 19 points, 6 rebounds, 8 assists and 5 steals (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Point guard Sebastian Bozenko (183-98) helped adding 21 points and 7 assists. Four AZS AGH KR players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was power forward Andrzej Mazur (203-98) with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds and center Tomasz Czajkowski (204-82) scored 6 points and 8 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. The victory was the ninth consecutive win for AZS AGH KR. They keep a position of Group C leader, which they share with Wisla Krakow. Newly promoted Rybnik keeps the twelfth place with 11 games lost. AZS AGH KR will face Jaroslaw (#9) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Rybnik will play against Bielsko-Biala and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
