Regular Season Round 15: Dublin L. - Templeogue 59-76

Bottom-ranked Dublin L. (0-14) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 76-59 loss to sixth ranked Templeogue (8-6) in Dublin on Saturday evening. It was a great evening for the former international center Jason Killeen (211-85, college: Augusta) who led his team to a victory scoring 9 points and 12 rebounds. The former international point guard Lorcan Murphy (182-94) helped adding 20 points. Templeogue's coach Mark Keenan used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was swingman Finn Hughes (186-0) with 16 points and 9 rebounds and Jack Maguire scored 12 points. Defending champion moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Killorglin. Newly promoted Dublin L. still closes the standings with 14 games lost. Templeogue will meet Killorglin (#6) in the next round. Dublin L. will play against Neptune (#7) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
