Leading Trouville (10-5) recorded its fifth loss in Montevideo. Hosts were edged by fifth ranked Aguada (10-4) 108-107. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Trouville. It was a key game for the second position in the league. Aguada made 16-of-21 charity shots (76.2 percent) during the game. Aguada had a 28-17 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. American power forward Lee Roberts (201-87, college: Findlay, OH) had a double-double by scoring 52 points (!!!) and 16 rebounds (on 19-of-23 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import swingman Courtney Fells (197-86, college: NC State) chipped in 20 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was American forward Francois Lewis (206-97, college: Presbyterian) with 29 points and point guard Alex Lopez (186-93) scored 21 points and 7 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Defending champion moved-up to second place, which they share with Olimpia. Trouville at the other side dropped to the fourth position with five games lost. Aguada's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Montevideo to the arena Goes.
