Regular Season Round 15: Unia Tarnow - MKS DG 2 70-90

No shocking result in a game when third ranked MKS DG 2 (10-4) outleveled on the road bottom-ranked Unia Tarnow (0-14) 90-70 on Saturday. MKS DG 2 made 21-of-25 free shots (84.0 percent) during the game. MKS DG 2 outrebounded Unia Tarnow 50-30 including 17 on the offensive glass. It was a great evening for point guard Patryk Wieczorek (188-96) who led his team to a victory scoring 19 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Power forward Przemyslaw Paduch (202-3) helped adding 20 points and 8 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). The best for the losing side was guard Daniel Stawarski (191-87) with 13 points and 5 rebounds and guard Jacek Sulowski (192-79) scored 11 points and 8 rebounds. Four MKS DG 2 and five Unia Tarnow players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. MKS DG 2 maintains third place in Group C with 10-4 record having just three points less than leader Dziki Wwa. Unia Tarnow lost their fourteenth game in a row. They still close the standings with 14 games lost. MKS DG 2 will face UR Krakow (#7) at home in the next round. Unia Tarnow will play against AZS AWF Mick. (#4) in Katowice and hopes to get finally their first victory.
