We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 13th ranked Lourdes-Tarbes (5-13) was edged on the road by fourteenth ranked Vanves (4-13) 59-58 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was swingman Raphael Desroses (199-80) who scored 11 points. Marc-Antoine Bourgault (195-90, college: St.John's) chipped in 9 points and 5 rebounds. Vanves' coach Sylvain Mousseau used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Frederic Loubaki (197-97, agency: Octagon Europe) who recorded 13 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists and center Alexis Thomas (208-95) added 12 points respectively.
