Regular Season Round 15: Dziki Wwa - MKS Ochota 120-71

2Liga top team - Dziki Wwa (13-1) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed tenth ranked MKS Ochota (3-10) in Warszawa 120-71. They outrebounded MKS Ochota 40-27 including 29 on the defensive glass. Dziki Wwa looked well-organized offensively handing out 37 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by MKS Ochota's players. The best player for the winners was swingman Michal Wojtynski (193-89) who scored 21 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Karol Debski (198-84, agency: Promotex) chipped in 14 points and 9 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Krzysztof Grudzien (196-92) who recorded 16 points and 4 assists and guard Mateusz Gorka (190-99) added 11 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Dziki Wwa have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. They maintain first place in Group B with 13-1 record. Newly promoted MKS Ochota dropped to the eleventh position with ten games lost. Dziki Wwa will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. MKS Ochota will play against AZS UJK Kielce (#6) and hope to secure a win.
