There was a minor upset in San Sebastian where 9th ranked Al-Qazeres (5-10) was defeated by twelfth ranked Gipuzkoa UPV (5-10) 80-72. Gipuzkoa UPV players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. It was a good game for Senegalese power forward Oumoul Sarr (185-84) who led her team to a victory with 14 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists (perfect from the field making all six shots).
