Regular Season Round 18: Fyllingen BBK - Tromso 102-86

Everything went according to plan when second ranked Fyllingen BBK (14-4) beat at home 5th ranked Tromso (8-11) 102-86 on Sunday. Fyllingen BBK dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Tromso's 42. Fyllingen BBK had a 34-20 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was guard Magne Fivelstad (198-89, college: Barry) who had a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!) and 14 rebounds. American guard Kenny Carpenter (196-96, college: Cleveland St., agency: Mansfield and Associates) chipped in a double-double by scoring 27 points, 9 rebounds and 11 assists. Four Fyllingen BBK players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Cam Gregory (203-95, college: Loyola, MD) who recorded a double-double by scoring 32 points and 14 rebounds and point guard Johannes Lange (182-98) added 19 points and 5 assists respectively. Fyllingen BBK have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 14-4 record despite having the same number of points like the leader Kongsberg. Tromso lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with 11 games lost. Fyllingen BBK will meet at home league's leader Kongsberg in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Tromso will have a break next round.
