Very expected game when 10th ranked Flammes (3-7) lost to fifth ranked Bretagne (5-5) in Pleyber-Christ 77-90 on Sunday. Bretagne made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. Bretagne had a 27-16 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Flammes' players. American guard Taylor Wurtz (183-90, college: Wisconsin) notched 24 points and 6 rebounds to lead the effort and the other American import forward Ashley Bruner (183-91, college: S.Carolina, agency: Two Points) supported her with 16 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Even a double-double of 13 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals by Nigerian power forward Evelyn Akhator (190-95, college: Kentucky) did not help to save the game for Flammes.
