Regular Season Round 28: Tokyo HT - Shizuoka 77-66

Rather expected game when 9th ranked Shizuoka (11-15) was defeated on the road by seventh ranked Tokyo HT (14-15) 77-66. Tokyo HT outrebounded Shizuoka 46-35 including 34 on the defensive glass. It was a very good performance for American center Shaquille Morris (203-94, college: Wichita St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists. Burkinabe center Niyokwizera Yves (200-93) contributed with 7 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. American forward Roschon Prince (198-94, college: Detroit Mercy) replied with 7 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists and forward Abu Philip (198-97) added 13 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Shizuoka. Four Shizuoka players scored in double figures. Tokyo HT moved-up to sixth place. Newly promoted Shizuoka keeps the ninth position with 15 games lost. Tokyo HT's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Tokyo to the arena Tokyo CR.
