The biggest surprise took place in Latina where host Latina Basket (8-8) beat league's leader Edilnol Bl (11-5) 72-67 on Sunday evening. Naturalized Argentinian guard Bernardo Musso (193-86, agency: Interperformances) fired 19 points for the winners. Center Andrea Ancellotti (212-88) chipped in 7 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks. American forward Ed Polite Jr. (196-97, college: Radford) produced 15 points and 7 rebounds and Nigerian-American forward Emmanuel Omogbo (203-95, college: Colorado St.) added 12 points and 10 rebounds respectively for lost side. Four Edilnol Bl players scored in double figures. Latina Basket moved-up to eighth place in A2. Edilnol Bl at the other side dropped to the second position with five games lost. They were joined at the leadership position by Novipiu Casale who have the same record. Edilnol Bl will play next round against league's leader Novipiu Casale trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Latina Basket will try to continue on its current victory against fourteenth ranked Bergamo Bsk on the road.
