Very significant was Heat's (#1, 26-10) victory against 4th ranked Trail Blazers (15-22) 122-111. Heat players were unselfish on offense dishing 34 assists comparing to just 21 passes made by Trail Blazers' players. Slovenian point guard Goran Dragic (190-86) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 13 assists. Bam Adebayo (208-97, college: Kentucky) contributed with 20 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners. Point guard Damian Lillard (190-90, college: Weber St.) replied with a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 12 assists and center Hassan Whiteside (213-89, college: Marshall) added 21 points and 18 rebounds in the effort for Trail Blazers. Five Heat and four Trail Blazers players scored in double figures. Trail Blazers' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Heat maintains first position with 26-10 record. Trail Blazers at the other side dropped to the third place with 22 games lost.
