Regular Season Round 75: Charlotte H. - Indiana P 104-115

An exciting game was played in Charlotte. Second ranked Pacers faced 3rd placed Hornets. Guests from Indianapolis (23-14) defeated host Hornets (15-24) 115-104. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Hornets. Pacers dominated down low during the game scoring 74 of its points in the paint compared to Hornets' 54. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists. The best player for the winners was forward TJ Warren (203-93, college: NC State) who scored 36 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds. Lithuanian-American power forward Domantas Sabonis (209-96, college: Gonzaga) chipped in a double-double by scoring 18 points, 12 rebounds and 7 assists. Pacers' coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Terry Rozier (185-94, college: Louisville) who recorded 28 points and 6 assists (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!) and point guard Devonte Graham (187-95, college: Kansas) added 22 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Pacers maintains second place with 23-14 record having just one point less than leader Milwaukee B. Loser Hornets keep the third position with 24 games lost.
