National League top team - Afula (10-2) had no problems winning another game on Tuesday. This time they crushed fourteenth ranked Hasharon (2-10) 93-73. Afula made 25-of-30 free shots (83.3 percent) during the game, while Hasharon only scored eight points from the stripe. The winners were led by American forward AlLonzo Coleman (203-89, college: Presbyterian) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 25 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists and naturalized American forward Ben Carter (206-94, college: Michigan St.) supported him with 16 points and 7 rebounds. Even 18 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists by naturalized Polish guard Gal Gilinski (195-95) did not help to save the game for Hasharon. American forward Tyrell Nelson (201-95, college: Gardner-Webb) added 17 points and 10 rebounds. Five Afula and four Hasharon players scored in double figures. Hasharon's coach rotated eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Afula maintains first position with 10-2 record. Newly promoted Hasharon stay at the bottom place with ten games lost. Afula will again meet Hasharon (#7) in the next round where they are favorite. Hasharon will play against H.Ramat Gan (#11) and hope to secure a win.
