Regular Season Round 12: Netanya - H.Galilee 74-75

A very interesting game took place in Netanya. It ended with only one-point home defeat of 12th ranked Netanya (4-8) to fifth ranked H.Galilee (7-5) 75-74 on Tuesday evening. Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. H.Galilee players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. The best player for the winners was point guard Roi Huber (188-97) who scored 30 points. American forward Wayne Langston (201-93, college: Murray St.) chipped in 21 points and 8 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Cameron Naylor (201-94, college: Texas St.) who recorded a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds and Gal Shterenberg (-99) added 9 points and 11 rebounds respectively. Netanya's coach Ruven Najberger tested ten players in this game, but that didn't help. H.Galilee maintains fifth position with 7-5 record, which they share with Yavne. Netanya at the other side dropped to the tenth place with eight games lost. H.Galilee's next round opponent will be higher ranked Ironi Kiryat Ata (#4) at home and it may be quite challenging game. Netanya will play against Hapoel H/M (#13) and hope to win that game.
