Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Hod Hasharon: Bnei Hasharon (#2) and Hasharon (#7). Bnei Hasharon (9-3) won against visiting Hasharon (6-6) 81-76. Bnei Hasharon made 18-of-22 charity shots (81.8 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Kendall Anthony (173-93, college: Richmond) who helped to win the game recording 29 points and 6 assists (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) and the other American import forward Isaiah Eisendorf (198-96, college: LeMoyne) who added 11 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Four Bnei Hasharon players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American forward Jimmy Hall (203-94, college: Kent St.) with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and Puerto Rican-American point guard TreVon Hughes (185-87, college: Wisconsin) scored 26 points and 6 rebounds. Bnei Hasharon maintains second position with 9-3 record behind leader Afula. Hasharon lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with six games lost. They share the position with Kiryat Motzkin and Ashkelon. Bnei Hasharon will play against Kiryat Motzkin (#8) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Hasharon will play against the league's leader Afula and hopes to get back on the winning track.
