Regular Season Round 25: Guangsha L. - Xinjiang FT 98-88

The game between second ranked Xinjiang FT (20-5) and eighth ranked Zhejiang Guangsha Lions (16-10) was the most important one in the last round on Tuesday night. Xinjiang FT was defeated by Zhejiang Guangsha Lions in Hangzhou 88-98. It ended at the same time the eight-game winning streak of Xinjiang FT. American forward Jarnell Stokes (201-94, college: Tennessee) answered with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 20 rebounds and the other American import point guard Kay Felder (175-95, college: Oakland) added 10 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists in the effort for Xinjiang FT. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Zhejiang Ch. and Jilin NE T. Xinjiang FT at the other side keeps the second position with five games lost. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions is looking forward to face Brave Dragons (#11) in Taiyuan in the next round. Xinjiang FT will play at home against Sturgeons (#14) and is hoping to win this game.
