Regular Season Round 25: Lahti - BC Nokia 77-75

A very close game took place in Lahti between Lahti and BC Nokia. Tenth ranked Lahti (8-16) got a very close home victory over higher ranked BC Nokia (11-12). Lahti managed to escape with a 2-point win 77-75 on Wednesday evening. BC Nokia was trailing by 4 points at halftime but managed to get 2-point lead after three quarters before a 23-19 charge of Lahti, which allowed them to win the game. Five Lahti and four BC Nokia players scored in double figures. Lahti moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Kobrat. Loser BC Nokia dropped to the seventh position with 12 games lost. Lahti will meet league's second-placed Vilpas in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. BC Nokia will play against KTP Basket (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
