Regular Season Round 7: Peja - Ibar Rozaje 94-80

Very significant was Kosovan Peja's (#3, 3-3) victory against their biggest opponent Montenegrin Ibar Rozaje (3-2) 94-80. Peja forced 19 Ibar Rozaje turnovers and outrebounded them 39-28 including 18 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Croatian forward Henrik Sirko (198-93, agency: XL Basketball Agency) fired a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Polish-Kosovan Dardan Berisha (191-88) chipped in 23 points and 4 assists. Peja's coach used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Serbian point guard Nemanja Simovic (192-95) produced 25 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists and Eldin Huremovic (201-98) added 17 points and 11 rebounds respectively for lost side. Peja maintains third place with 3-3 record having just three points less than leader Akademik Bultex. Loser Ibar Rozaje keeps the second position with two games lost. Peja will meet at home league's leader Academik Plovdiv in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Ibar Rozaje will have a break next round.
