Regular Season Round 8: PINKK-Pecsi - Dynamo M. 80-66

Hungarian PINKK-Pecsi has finally registered their first victory this season after six consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Russian Dynamo Moscow (2-5) 80-66 on Thursday. The game without a history. PINKK-Pecsi led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. PINKK-Pecsi forced 22 Dynamo Moscow turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. 28 personal fouls committed by Dynamo Moscow helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of German guard Emma Stach (175-96, college: Gonzaga, agency: Scorers 1st Sportmanagement) who helped to win the game recording 27 points and 6 assists and American forward Shenita Landry (190-87, college: Temple, agency: Scorers 1st Sportmanagement) who added 19 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. Polina Fedorova (189-95) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds and guard Maria Savina (188-88, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds. Four Dynamo Moscow players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. PINKK-Pecsi (1-6) left bottom position moving up to fifteenth place. Dynamo Moscow at the other side dropped to the eleventh position with five games lost. They share it with Gorizont. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
