Regular Season Round 13: Mark - Lulea Basket 61-78

Damligan top team - Lulea Basket (10-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they beat eighth ranked Mark (3-8) in Kinna 78-61. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Mark. The game was mostly controlled by Lulea Basket. Mark was better in second period 16-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 16-of-21 charity shots (76.2 percent) during the game. Montenegrin forward Milica Jovanovic (189-89) nailed a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side and American guard Natisha Hiedeman (173-97, college: Marquette) accounted for 23 points and 4 assists. Lulea Basket's coach Robin Sandberg allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American guard Shay Burnett (175-96, college: Elon) came up with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds and the other American import forward Terae Briggs (190, college: Nevada) added 13 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Mark in the defeat. Four Mark players scored in double figures. Lulea Basket have an impressive series of ten victories in a row. They maintain first place with 10-1 record. Mark at the other side keeps the eighth position with eight games lost. They share it with IK Eos. Lulea Basket will play against A3 Basket (#4) in Umea in the next round. Mark will play on the road against the league's second-placed Hogsbo (#2) in Goteborg and hopes to get back on the winning track.
